ALTjust sent out my first newsletter last night announcing next Friday’s drop of golems, incantation bowl pendants, zines, stickers, pins, & prints. i also talked a little bit about some projects i’m working on & my thoughts on making art in the current political climate. short version: it’s bad, but i’m still here, & i’m not going anywhere.
(yes, i’m aware now that there is a planned economic blackout on this day. i wasn’t when i scheduled this, & i decided not to change it. i’m happy to participate by not buying anything from major retailers on the 28th - i have enough privilege to be able to make that choice! - but if your participation means not buying anything anywhere, that’s fine. personally i believe boycotts should be targeted & sustained until concrete demands are met, but if this action inspires folks i don’t see the harm in it.)
